Water helps flush out toxins. It also removes any lactic acid that you produce during your workouts, increase your concentration levels, and a hydrate your skin so it looks healthier. For best results, drink 8-10 glasses of water per day.
2. Find Ways To Move More
Does your workplace have an elevator? Take the stairs instead. It’s a great way to burn fat and increase blood flow in your lower body. Do you typically drive to your personal training session? Next time, leave your car at home. Walk or jog to the gym instead. It’s a great way to warm up before your workout! If you have to drive, park a few blocks away.
You can also put a resistance band in your bag to take with you everywhere. Search YouTube for quick workouts you do if you have a spare minute or two.
3. Get More Sleep
Sleep is your body’s way of recovering from a full day of activity. Lack has sleep can take a toll on your energy levels, weakening your muscles, your immune system, and your digestive system. Get more sleep. Set a realistic bed time and wake time each day. Try to stick with it on workdays and weekends.
