The 15-Minute Vacation Workout | Campbell Personal Trainers

You work hard to build good habits at home... and vacation happens, and sticking with those habits suddenly seems like a lot of work.

This do-anywhere workout is PERFECT for any time you need a quick workout to keep your healthy lifestyle going.

It doesn't require a hotel gym, a full hour, or even a pair of sneakers you forgot to pack.

It just requires 15 minutes and a little floor space.

Enter the AMRAP.

AMRAP stands for "As Many Rounds As Possible," and it's one of the most efficient workout formats out there.

You set a timer, move through a circuit of exercises, and simply see how many rounds you can complete before time runs out.

Here's how it works:

Set a timer for 15 minutes. Move through the following exercises back-to-back, resting only when you need to.

When you finish the last move, start back at the top, and see how many full rounds you can complete.

First, warm up with light cardio and some leg and arm swings.

Your Anywhere Summer AMRAP

  • 10 squats
  • 10 push-ups
  • 10 reverse lunges (5 per leg)
  • 10 mountain climbers (5 per side)
  • 10 glute bridges
  • 10 plank shoulder taps (5 per side)

That's one round. Keep repeating rounds until the timer runs out. Then walk around until your heart rate comes back down and stretch out.

A few tips:

Move at a pace you can sustain. The goal is to keep moving consistently for the full 15 minutes, and the beauty of AMRAP is that it meets you exactly where you are.

If you're feeling strong, push the pace. If you're jet-lagged and running on airport coffee, dial it back and just keep moving.
