This matters because it’s absolutely CRITICAL for your health that you MOVE your body every day. Being active helps fight diabetes, age-related muscle and bone loss, heart disease, some types of cancer, obesity, and a long list of other ailments… While at the same time boosting your mood, improving your sleep, and fighting stress. Even with all those amazing benefits, 36% percent (more than a third!!!!) of adults do not engage in ANY leisure time physical activity. (We don’t make the rules. But we’re sharing this because YOU DESERVE to feel great.) Here are some things you can do to be more active, starting TODAY: Hiking on the weekends with your partner or friends Playing pickleball- come on, we know you want to try it! :) Putting on some music and dancing while you clean the house Walking to your local coffee shop to grab a coffee instead of driving You can be as creative as you want! So, here’s our invitation for you… This week, explore at least one physical activity that doesn’t feel like exercise. Bonus points if you can get outdoors to do it!
